We have had a very busy week learning all about harvesting! We have been describing fruits and vegetables, thinking what we could bring to a harvest festival, sounding out things we could see on a harvest table and sorting foods into how they are harvested! We have also been thinking about our favourite dinners and remembering the meaning of the harvest festival is to give thanks to God for providing us with these foods! We also learnt how wheat was harvested! We had a go at making our own bread rolls! It was a very messy day in year one today! They looked and smelt delicious!
